After many years of infertility and 3 miscarriages we found out we were pregnant again in 2017.
At first we were reluctant to get excited as we had been experienced so much heartache already but finally in May 2018 our rainbow baby arrived!
After a drawn out labour Mr M aspirated some meconium and had to go into Special Care Unit for a few days.
As a first time mum this made learning to breastfeed quite difficult for the both of us! After being told that I would probably not be able to breastfeed due to having not enough fatty breast tissue and that I would need to be expressing at least 10 times a day I was determined to try!
After lots of perseverance we are now almost 4 months into our breastfeeding journey! It has been the most amazing experience and after it taking so many years to get to this point I wanted a special keepsake so I could carry a reminder with me of our journey everyday!
