When a loved one is no longer with us, the moments that lead up to, during and after we last see them are moments that we remember forever. Smells that will forever trigger memories seem imprinted within us, songs that you once loved to hear now burn your ears so you may avoid listening to them, the things that others say or things that they do at this time may annoy or puzzle you but everyone has a process to protect themselves and grieve in their own way.
No way is wrong, even though it may not be how you think or you cannot accept their way, its is their way not yours. Being gentle and understanding during difficult emotional times is an extremely hard thing to do, emotions are raw and right at the surface.
Times like this can be confusing for those left behind. Sometimes we expected to grieve instantly, but shock can come first and stay for a while then grief and that is completely fine and exactly how someone is meant to go through their process.
When I receive loved ones ashes I am filled with emotions, even though these emotions are not mine I still let the feeling happen, respect and acknowledge that it is happening, and release it because it is not mine.
I ask the amount of a Teaspoon in a container that you choose to hold this precious inclusion then double ziplock bagged that is named and has your order number on both bags.
